Open the channel
- In the left sidebar, click Channels.
- Click the channel you want to delete.
- You are taken to the channel detail page.
Open the deletion dialog
On the detail page, locate the Delete channel or Remove button and click it. A confirmation dialog opens.
Review the warnings and confirm
The dialog displays the following warnings before proceeding:
- All conversations from this channel will be affected.
- The channel cannot be restored after deletion.
- Customers will no longer be able to send messages through this channel.
What happens after deletion
- The channel no longer appears in the channels list.
- Existing conversation history is retained, but those conversations will not receive new inbound messages.
- Customers cannot contact you through the deleted channel.
- All configuration — including credentials, default team assignment, and AI agent — is permanently removed.
